About this role

Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy, is hiring Electrical Engineers at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior levels to perform engineering and technical tasks supporting nuclear plant operations. You'll ensure all engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements while working under supervision at one of the world's largest power producers.

Responsibilities

—Assure all engineering products are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements
—Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision
—Support engineering work functions
—Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities as directed
—Contribute to multi-discipline projects and design work when needed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
—2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level)
—5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Senior-level)

Desired

—Experience with upgrade and replacement of plant components and systems
—Ability to lead teams on multi-discipline projects and perform limited multi-discipline design work
—Experience with transformers and high voltage power electrical systems
—Experience with relays, motors, and control systems
—Experience with drawing reviews and revision process
—Strong analytical skills for working with technical documentation
—Effective collaboration with teams and clear presentation of ideas
—Experience in managing design projects from concept to completion
—Professional Engineer Registration
—Advanced technical degree or related coursework
