Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design and technical engineering tasks applying nuclear industry principles and safety standards
- Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, NRC requirements, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in development and implementation of effective engineering processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail
- Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed by management
Preferred qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
- Understanding of fundamental functions performed by the electrical engineering group in nuclear operations
