Electrical Design Engineer at Constellation's Byron nuclear plant, supporting plant operations through electrical system design, analysis, and compliance. Responsibilities

—Perform electrical design and technical engineering tasks applying nuclear industry principles and safety standards
—Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, NRC requirements, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements
—Participate in development and implementation of effective engineering processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail
—Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed by management

Qualifications

—B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Ability to maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, and pass favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties
—Mid-level: Minimum 2 years nuclear or related engineering experience and compliance with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard
—Senior: Minimum 5 years nuclear or related engineering experience and compliance with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard

Desired

—B.S. in Electrical Engineering
—Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
—Understanding of fundamental functions performed by the electrical engineering group in nuclear operations
