1-year hybrid contract Project Engineer/Project Manager role at Westinghouse supporting capital improvement projects across nuclear and fossil energy generating facilities in Colorado. This position combines engineering expertise with project management to maintain and improve power generation asset reliability, working directly with Operations, Reliability Engineering, and Plant Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple capital projects across power generation facilities from initiation through completion, including emergent and base capital initiatives
- Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, schedules, and justification documents; coordinate planning, execution, and closeout activities
- Collaborate with Operations, Reliability Engineering, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to identify project opportunities and reliability improvements
- Manage contractors, vendors, consultants, and equipment suppliers; support procurement activities including quotes, bidding, and vendor selection
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, material management, and installation; monitor project budgets and schedules for successful delivery
- Attend daily plant planning meetings; utilize plant documentation systems (ProjectWise); ensure safe execution in operating power plant environment

Hybrid role based in Colorado; onsite at operating power plant facility
