About this role

Site Engineering co-op at Limerick Generating Station (Constellation Energy), a two-unit pressurized boiling water reactor nuclear facility. Support nuclear power operations through either Strategic Engineering (station operation, maintenance, troubleshooting) or Design Engineering (modifications, design changes, technical issue resolution). Full-time 40-hour/week Fall/Winter 2026 assignment for Drexel University students.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational and maintenance data using spreadsheet programs and computerized systems; compile data to support engineering analysis and performance indicator reporting
  • Participate in system walkdowns and troubleshooting of plant systems, instrumentation, and equipment
  • Assist with maintenance inspections and support preparation of technical reports for station management
  • Support development of preliminary design change packages and research equipment specifications for future applications

Preferred qualifications

  • Major in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology
  • Basic engineering skills with understanding of practical applications
  • Previous co-op, work experience, or volunteer experience in engineering or technical field

Location, schedule, and travel

Limerick Generating Station, Pottstown, PA 19464. 40 hours/week, onsite work. Housing stipend available for candidates living beyond 50 miles of site. No travel required.
