About this role
Constellation seeks Electrical/I&C Engineers at Entry, Mid, or Senior levels to provide advanced technical expertise supporting nuclear plant operations. Entry-level candidates need a Bachelor's in Engineering; Mid-level require 2+ years of nuclear engineering experience; Senior-level require 5+ years. You will solve complex engineering problems, manage technical projects, perform engineering analysis, and ensure safe, reliable nuclear fleet operations.
Responsibilities
- —Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- —Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and direct involvement
- —Perform complete task management of engineering issues and perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
- —Apply engineering principles to assigned tasks; ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- —Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- —Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level)
- —5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Senior-level)
- —Nuclear Modification Design Process knowledge
- —Professional Engineer Registration
- —Advanced technical degree or related coursework
