Digital Upgrade Engineer
About this role
Westinghouse seeks a Digital Upgrade Engineer to develop and oversee engineering change packages with digital modifications at nuclear power facilities. This 24-month+ contract role is initially remote with onsite support required in Tonopah, AZ as project needs dictate. You will support the full lifecycle of digital modifications from scoping through regulatory approval and closeout.
Responsibilities
- —Develop Engineering Change (EC) packages, including digital modifications
- —Support Owner's Acceptance and vendor oversight activities
- —Apply systems engineering and digital engineering processes to modification design and validation
- —Support regulatory evaluations including 10 CFR 50.59 assessments
- —Develop and support test strategies and modification closeout activities
Qualifications
- —Nuclear power industry engineering experience
- —Experience managing EC packages from scoping through closeout
- —Digital engineering and systems engineering experience
- —Industry Standard Design Modification experience
Desired
- —Experience with digital or Instrumentation & Control (I&C) modifications
Location
Initially remote; onsite support required in Tonopah, AZ based on project needs. 24-month contract or longer.
