About this role
Support nuclear plant design updates at APS's Casa Grande location by preparing and modifying Plant Design Change Packages and related documentation. This role gathers, organizes, and develops engineering data to ensure design changes are accurate, well-documented, and ready for implementation at the reactor facility.
Responsibilities
- —Prepare or assist in preparation of modifications to Plant Design Change Packages
- —Complete simple to medium job package projects
- —Gather, organize, and develop engineering data from design documentation
- —Support development of Design Change Notices, Bills of Materials, and other design documents
- —Participate in walk-downs to support design accuracy and field alignment
- —Produce accurate, concise engineering documents using manual or CADD techniques
- —Perform field investigations to determine as-built conditions and design requirements
- —Ensure project conformance to procedures, regulations, and codes
- —Compile required documentation for assigned projects into complete packages
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED required. Two years of college or technical school coursework in CADD or a technical discipline (or equivalent) required. Two years of design experience in area of specialization required. Experience supporting plant or engineering design documentation required. Ability to gather, organize, and develop engineering data from existing design documentation. Familiarity with design change notices, bills of materials, or similar technical documents. Attention to detail and ability to support multiple job packages. Effective interpersonal and communication skills in Windows environment.
