About this role
Consulting Engineer supporting Westinghouse's Subsequent License Renewal Projects at Surry Nuclear Plant. Design and analyze piping supports, perform rigging analysis, and conduct design verifications for major component replacements and plant modifications including crane replacements, feedwater heater replacements, and building modifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate piping supports and perform rigging analysis
- Conduct design verifications and owners reviews for design change/engineering change packages
- Provide civil/structural engineering support for large projects including crane replacements, feedwater heater replacements, building modifications, and major component replacements
- Perform civil/structural engineering analysis, evaluations, and component design
- Schedule major engineering segments of complex projects to meet design development schedule goals
- Attend station schedule and outage meetings
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Surry, VA; 12-month contract; onsite
