Common Q Platform Engineering
About this role
Support and develop tools for Westinghouse's Common Q platform, a next-generation instrumentation and control (I&C) system for nuclear facilities. You'll enhance existing tools, fix bugs, develop new capabilities, and document validation processes while reporting to the Manager of Common Q and CE Safety Systems.
Responsibilities
Understand and maintain the existing Common Q platform codebase
Support existing tools with enhancements and bug corrections
Develop new tools to support future nuclear projects
Create documentation and validation of tool sets
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Visual Studio, C, C++, or other related programming languages
Understanding of PLC systems
Desired
Familiarity with ARM architecture
Location
Hybrid at Warrendale, PA facility
