About this role
Senior Chemical Engineer supporting Westinghouse Component Engineering and Chemistry Operations. Manage primary coolant, reactor, and secondary/steam chemistry programs for nuclear power plants. Hybrid role (2 days/week on-site in Cranberry Township, PA) focused on asset management, chemistry assessments, and operational support for clean energy facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct operational chemistry assessments to manage secondary side chemistry and support maintenance planning
- Develop chemistry program planning, implement control changes, and troubleshoot plant systems
- Apply water chemistry control expertise to material applications and temporary/permanent modifications
- Collaborate on asset management planning and support decisive decision-making with plant personnel
- Gain hands-on experience in primary/fuel, reactor, and secondary/steam chemistry operations
Preferred qualifications
Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) knowledge; PWR secondary side chemistry and steam generator operation experience; PWR primary reactor coolant chemistry expertise.
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid (2 days/week on-site), Cranberry Township, PA. No relocation assistance provided.
