CAE Engineer/E3D Admin
About this role
Administer AVEVA E3D software and support plant layout engineering at Westinghouse. This hybrid role combines CAE administration with hands-on technical support for 3D plant design and modeling, reporting to the Manager of Computer Aided Engineering.
Responsibilities
- —Administer E3D software (AVEVA) installation, configuration, and system maintenance
- —Install and configure E3D software/hardware and manage user accounts and workstations
- —Organize and support data exchange during large engineering projects
- —Monitor system performance, resolve system problems/failures, and apply security controls (access, backups, firewalls)
- —Update systems with new releases and develop expertise to train employees on new technologies
- —Perform PML programming and development to customize and improve E3D functionality
- —Organize data backup and storage systems according to requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology; 3+ years of administrative experience with AVEVA E3D; experience in plant layout engineering; AVEVA ADMIN work certificates (E3D); skills in programming and development; proficiency in English.
Desired
Proficiency in German or Spanish; AVEVA CATALOG experience; AVEVA DRAW experience.
Location
Hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC.
