Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology; 3+ years of administrative experience with AVEVA E3D; experience in plant layout engineering; AVEVA ADMIN work certificates (E3D); skills in programming and development; proficiency in English.
About this role
Administer AVEVA E3D software and support plant layout engineering at Westinghouse. This hybrid role combines CAE administration with hands-on technical support for 3D plant design and modeling, reporting to the Manager of Computer Aided Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Administer E3D software (AVEVA) installation, configuration, and system maintenance
- Install and configure E3D software/hardware and manage user accounts and workstations
- Organize and support data exchange during large engineering projects
- Monitor system performance, resolve system problems/failures, and apply security controls (access, backups, firewalls)
- Update systems with new releases and develop expertise to train employees on new technologies
- Perform PML programming and development to customize and improve E3D functionality
- Organize data backup and storage systems according to requirements
Preferred qualifications
Proficiency in German or Spanish; AVEVA CATALOG experience; AVEVA DRAW experience.
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC.
