CAE Engineer
About this role
Support Westinghouse's CAD Administration team in managing engineering design tools and plant data systems. Oversee 3D modeling, drawing management, and CAD data integrity across multiple nuclear engineering disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Piping). Administer CAD software licenses, troubleshoot application issues, and maintain data connections between CAD management and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee creation, development, and revision control of 3D models and engineering drawings for CSA, Electrical, and Piping disciplines
- —Manage CAD data storage, maintenance, and integrity using data management tools; ensure proper configuration and version control
- —Perform CAD software administration tasks including license management, vendor communication, and usage approval
- —Maintain and troubleshoot interface connections between CAD management tools and enterprise software (SAP, PI System, etc.) for data collection and reporting
- —Support CAD Administration Lead on daily operational tasks and complete independent assignments within project schedule and budget
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. Knowledge of CAD applications (Autodesk, AVEVA, Hexagon-based products). Ability to troubleshoot software issues and understand software development processes.
Location
Hybrid: Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC. No relocation assistance.
