Field welder for Westinghouse nuclear outage support, traveling 100% to different nuclear plant locations. Fabricate and install pipe, duct, and structural steel while meeting rigorous nuclear safety standards and maintaining active nuclear badge clearance.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and install pipe, duct, structural steel, and pipe/duct supports to nuclear specifications
Successfully pass weld tests and qualify per site requirements at each location
Report to Field Supervisor or Project Manager and coordinate with site engineering and QA teams
Travel 100% of the time to various nuclear plant locations for outage and maintenance campaigns
Location, schedule, and travel
100% travel to nuclear plant locations; onsite field work at multiple facilities
