Required qualifications

Landscape Technician at Catawba Nuclear Station (Duke Energy/Westinghouse). Maintain grounds and outdoor areas at an operational nuclear facility using hand tools, power equipment, and landscaping machinery. Role requires Radiation Worker Training and adherence to nuclear security and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate zero-turn and riding lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, and gas-powered equipment to maintain facility grounds
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers; perform re-seeding and de-icing of roads, walkways, and building entrances
- Clear damaged trees and maintain designated outdoor areas
- Report to site coordinator; ensure compliance with nuclear facility procedures, safety directives, and security requirements
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and industrial safety in a nuclear power plant environment
Preferred qualifications
Self-motivated; ability to work independently or with minimal oversight; assertive approach to safety and operational excellence.
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite at Catawba Nuclear Station (North Carolina). 40-hour work week Monday–Thursday (10-hour days) during online periods; on-call support and overtime during refueling outages.
