About this role
Junior Welder at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication site, performing manual and semi-automatic welding on critical nuclear components. You'll execute GTAW, SAW, and ESW processes in a three-shift operation supporting the nuclear energy industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using GTAW, SAW, and ESW processes on nuclear-qualified components
- Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates and verify WPS compliance
- Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding; inspect for defects
- Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds; report findings to supervisors
- Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes
- Comply with company procedures for safety, quality, risk, and security
Location, schedule, and travel
Monfalcone, Italy; onsite three-shift operation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am, Monday–Friday).
