About this role

Junior Welder at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication site, performing manual and semi-automatic welding on critical nuclear components. You'll execute GTAW, SAW, and ESW processes in a three-shift operation supporting the nuclear energy industry.

Responsibilities

—Perform welding operations using GTAW, SAW, and ESW processes on nuclear-qualified components
—Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates and verify WPS compliance
—Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding; inspect for defects
—Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds; report findings to supervisors
—Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes
—Comply with company procedures for safety, quality, risk, and security

Qualifications

Professional school diploma; minimum 2 years experience with GTAW/SAW/ESW welding; familiarity with WPS (Welding Process Specifications); Italian and English language proficiency (minimum B1 level); availability for three-shift rotation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am, Monday–Friday).

Location

Monfalcone, Italy; onsite three-shift operation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am, Monday–Friday).
