About this role

Supervise turbine and generator services personnel at a commercial nuclear power plant, overseeing outage coordination, technical direction, and maintenance operations. This hybrid role requires extensive nuclear experience and demonstrated supervisory capability.

Responsibilities

—Provide supervisory oversight of craft personnel during outages and online projects, including technical support and turbine floor coordination for all work groups
—Manage work packages and schedules from outage mobilization through execution and demobilization
—Assist in annual budget development, work planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
—Develop ramp-up load boards, manage contracts, approve budgets, and manage purchase orders
—Prepare, perform, and revise maintenance and operating procedures
—Perform system troubleshooting and coordinate contractors as appropriate
—Direct and supervise personnel, managing employee relations and performance management
—Determine manloading requirements during outages and plan resource allocation

Qualifications

—BS degree and 4 years nuclear experience, OR HS diploma and 7 years relevant industry/nuclear experience
—Knowledge of commercial nuclear power plants (BWR or PWR)
—Previous outage experience and project administration
—Meet nuclear requirements for unescorted plant access
—Extensive technical knowledge of turbine generator and auxiliary equipment
—Demonstrated supervisory and personnel management experience
—Strong oral and written communication skills
—Project management skills
—Understanding of collective bargaining contracts and union issues
—Proven negotiation skills
—Pass First Line Supervisor's Test (FLST) or currently supervising represented associates for minimum 12 continuous months
—Valid Real ID or approved alternate documentation
—US citizenship or lawful permanent resident status (10 CFR 810 compliance)
