About this role
At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. Provide effective supervision, direction and control of station maintenance activities by directing and coordinating the work of maintenance supervisors and bargaining unit personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide plant support of station operations Assure timely and effective performance of assigned maintenance using approved procedures and work practices.
- Assure station maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with the Company's personnel and safety policies.
- Direct and control work of station technicians and the planning and scheduling of such activities in support of station operations.
- Support the goal to maximize unit ability and reliability by assuring timely and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Perform supervisory duties, including conducting personnel evaluations, hiring and disciplinary recommendations.
- Job Specific Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 7 years of progressive experience in Nuclear Power Plant Environment, 2 years of which must be supervisory.
- Extensive knowledge of a Commercial or Nuclear Power Plant Operational guidelines.
- Strong background and knowledge in one or more Maintenance disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C and 12 Hour Shift.
- Must meet and maintain Nuclear's Requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
- A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation (https://www.pseg.com/IDrequirement) is required for this position by May 7, 2027.
