Training Logistics Coordinator
About this role
Establish and maintain field service training programs across multiple disciplines at Westinghouse's Waltz Mill facility. Lead Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) development, manage facility readiness, and serve as subject matter expert for nuclear training disciplines including BWR/PWR field operations, refueling, tooling, and reactor maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- —Lead all phases of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) including identifying course objectives, developing content, determining instruction strategies, and creating student materials
- —Support training evaluations, audits, and propose solutions to complex training problems
- —Maintain training facilities at high-level readiness for all training activities, customer tours, and engineering support
- —Instruct, train, and guide personnel on significant technical projects and activities in BWR/PWR field operations
- —Support and organize the work of other instructors and provide periodic performance feedback
- —Identify, support, and direct approach for resolution of significant technical issues
- —Deliver training and discipline-specific expert knowledge to peers, vendors, and customers
- —Support coordination and integration of complex technical projects across multi-functional areas while maintaining budget and schedule requirements
- —Develop and deliver presentations on status, problem resolution, and learning methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related technical field; 3+ years of project field service experience with demonstrated classroom/training instructor experience; 3+ years of project experience in BWR and/or PWR field project support activities (refueling, automated tooling, fuel movement, under vessel work, manipulator crane operation, transfer system operation, head area maintenance); ability to travel up to 40-50% annually
Location
Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA; onsite 5 days per week; up to 40-50% annual travel required
