Steam Generator Services Training Instructor
About this role
Westinghouse seeks a Steam Generator Services Training Instructor to develop and deliver field service training in steam generator primary/secondary inspections and reactor piping services. Based at the Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, you'll serve as a subject matter expert, mentor other instructors, and lead the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) across multiple technical disciplines.
Responsibilities
- —Develop and deliver training on steam generator inspections (primary and secondary), reactor inspections, and piping services using SAT methodology
- —Instruct personnel on inspection platforms, robotic equipment operation, and human factors/risk management principles
- —Design training scenarios for varying learning styles; conduct evaluations, audits, and provide performance feedback to trainees and peer instructors
- —Lead all phases of SAT: identify objectives, develop content, determine instruction strategies, create materials, and deliver presentations
- —Support complex technical projects and multi-functional initiatives; maintain training facility readiness and manage equipment/robotic tooling
- —Mentor other instructors and deliver discipline-specific expertise to internal customers, vendors, and external clients at customer sites
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- —5+ years of field service project experience with demonstrated classroom/training instruction experience
- —5+ years of project experience in Steam Generator/Inspection Services, including steam generator primary and secondary inspections and reactor/piping inspections
- —Demonstrated experience leading training and operating robotic inspection equipment across multiple platforms
- —Experience developing training materials and proven leadership capability
- —Ability to select training methodologies, design classroom processes, and implement programs that meet training requirements
Location
On-site 5 days per week at Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA.
