About this role

Support Susquehanna Nuclear's performance improvement and training coordination efforts as a Corrective Action/PI Coordinator. You'll serve as the Training Department's primary liaison for CAP and PIC program implementation, manage training qualifications and scheduling, and drive continuous improvement across the station.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Training Department's point of contact for Corrective Action Program (CAP) issues, maintaining knowledge of CAP processes and monitoring timely processing of condition reports, corrective actions, and observations.
  • Review condition reports for technical adequacy and perform administrative reviews of corrective action evaluations and responses for quality assurance.
  • Monitor and report on CAP, Non-CAP, and Observation metrics and indicators to provide accurate status reporting.
  • Participate as the Training Department representative on the Station Screening Team and perform condition report evaluations.
  • Facilitate Quality Review Teams for review of CAP and Non-CAP products.
  • Act as the Training Department's Performance Improvement Coordinator, analyzing performance data and developing actions to close identified gaps.
  • Maintain and update training indicators, department Plans for Excellence, and performance improvement indicators.
  • Develop and maintain Focused and Formal Benchmarking Self-Assessment plans for the work group.
  • Serve as Training Coordinator, scheduling and coordinating initial and continuing accredited and non-accredited training for department personnel.
  • Maintain Training qualification matrices and manage qualification removals and restorations.
  • Serve as interface for Training Partnership meetings and Training Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Attain and maintain qualification as a Lead Admin NANTEL/CBT proctor.
  • Support accreditation data collection and reporting.
  • Work as an OE Coordinator or HuP Advocate as assigned.
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance and environmental hazard awareness.

Qualifications

Entry Level: Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree with 0–3 years power plant experience, OR High School diploma with minimum 4 years power plant experience. Associate Level: High School diploma with 5 years power plant experience, OR Associate's degree with 3 years power plant experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years power plant experience. Senior Level: High School diploma with 10 years CAP/PIC role experience, OR Associate's degree with 7 years CAP/PIC role experience, OR Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5 years CAP/PIC role experience.

Bachelor of Science or technical field degree; Extensive knowledge of Susquehanna SES programs, job requirements, procedures, work activities, and plant systems; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to work effectively with personnel from other work groups and outside experts; Ability to develop partnerships with line management that promote improvement; Strong conceptual and analytical skills with ability to develop performance improvement strategies and recommendations; Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and commitment to improvement and self-development; Forward-thinking mindset with awareness of industry performance standards and best practices.
