About this role

Supervise a team of maintenance technicians at Callaway Energy Center, a 1,100 MW pressurized water reactor (PWR) in mid-Missouri. Direct predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance across the nuclear facility to ensure safe, reliable operation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance personnel in predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and related surveillance testing
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks; coordinate with Planning & Scheduling department on work scheduling
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of manpower and resources while maintaining high standards of workmanship and equipment reliability
  • Train personnel in proper work practices and ensure all work activities comply with applicable procedures and policies
  • Verify documentation of completed work activities is complete and accurate
  • Perform special studies and projects as assigned by Maintenance Department management
  • Assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties and respond to assigned ERO facilities within required response time

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences from an accredited college or university
  • Nuclear Power Plant experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with valves and/or welding
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, communication, and human relations skills

Location, schedule, and travel

Standard day or evening shift onsite in mid-Missouri; additional hours, callouts, and rotating shifts required during refueling outages and plant emergencies
