Required qualifications

  • Five or more years of relevant technical power plant or similar relevant technical industrial experience

  • Must pass First Line Supervisor Test and obtain recommended status
  • Establish and maintain permanent residence within sixty highway miles of Callaway Energy Center
  • Pass security screening for Callaway Energy Center access

About this role

Supervise skilled maintenance personnel at Callaway Energy Center nuclear power plant, directing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. Lead scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce training while maintaining compliance with NRC regulations and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance personnel in performance of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and related surveillance testing
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks; coordinate with Planning & Scheduling department on work scheduling
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of manpower and resources while promoting high standards of workmanship
  • Maintain high level of equipment reliability and train personnel in proper work practices
  • Ensure work activities are performed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of completed work activities
  • Assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties and respond to assigned ERO facilities within required response time

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences from an accredited college or university
  • Nuclear Power Plant experience
  • Supervisory experience

Location, schedule, and travel

Callaway Energy Center, Missouri; standard day or evening shift with potential for additional hours, callouts, and rotating shifts during refueling outages and emergent plant activities
