Required qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience, OR Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience. Maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties.

About this role

Supervisor overseeing the maintenance division at a nuclear power plant. Directly supervises craft personnel, coordinates maintenance activities in compliance with NRC regulations and company procedures, interfaces with regulatory agencies, and manages training, performance, and corrective action programs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise craft personnel to ensure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively in accordance with CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and schedule
  • Ensure department personnel are properly supervised, trained, and qualified to perform assignments, including emergency plan qualifications
  • Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including initiation of disciplinary action for assigned employees
  • Communicate significant CEC and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and applicable management levels
  • Foster open communications and collaboration between internal and external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies
  • Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online and refuel outage activities
  • Understand, support, and administer Maintenance processes including training programs, surveillance programs, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program
  • Supervise vendor inspections and repairs of CEC equipment
  • Ensure effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE
  • Participate in Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient CEC operation
  • Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support duties as directed

Preferred qualifications

3+ years experience in nuclear power plant operations. Fluent use of electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Location, schedule, and travel

On-site at Clean Energy Center (nuclear power plant); includes emergency response and on-call duties.
