Responsible for personnel qualifications, training, performance management, and safety in a BWR facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise craft personnel performing I&C maintenance activities safely and effectively per CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and schedule
- Ensure department personnel are properly trained, qualified, and maintain emergency plan qualifications; administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Administer maintenance processes including training programs, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program (CAP)
- Participate in work control, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages
- Communicate significant issues and company programs to management; foster collaboration with internal/external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies
- Supervise vendor inspections and equipment repairs; ensure effective procurement and management of materials, parts, tools, and M&TE
- Perform emergency response and departmental coverage as directed
Preferred qualifications
3+ years nuclear power plant operations experience. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Proficiency with electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
