About this role
Supervisor of Instrumentation and Control (I&C) maintenance operations at Braidwood Nuclear Power Station (PWR). Reports to Maintenance Manager and directly supervises craft personnel in the safe, NRC-compliant execution of all I&C maintenance activities, including emergency response and outage support.
Responsibilities
- Supervise craft personnel performing I&C maintenance activities in accordance with CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and work schedules; ensure compliance with emergency plan qualifications
- Train, qualify, and manage performance of assigned maintenance staff; administer coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary actions
- Participate in work control, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refueling outages
- Administer Maintenance processes including training programs, surveillance programs, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program (CAP)
- Supervise vendor inspections and equipment repairs; manage procurement, inventory, and maintenance of materials, parts, tools, and M&TE
- Communicate with Maintenance Manager, CEC management, INPO, and regulatory agencies on significant issues and improvement opportunities
- Participate in Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient CEC operations and business objectives
- Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and on-call support activities as directed
Preferred qualifications
3+ years nuclear power plant operations experience; I&C maintenance background; ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs; proficiency with electronic work management systems

Onsite at Braidwood Nuclear Power Station, Braceville, IL. Includes emergency response coverage and on-call requirements during outages.
