About this role
Westinghouse OMS Inspection Service role managing data collection and tracking for Steam Generator and Heat Exchanger examinations at nuclear power plants. You'll coordinate inspection program development, operate NDE technology in the field, and ensure data flows to analysts and leadership. Requires travel to customer sites and work in hazardous environments.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineering to develop inspection programs based on degradation assessment implementation
- Manage data collection using Data Management software (STMAX) for Steam Generator and Heat Exchanger examinations
- Support field project preparation including procedures, examination plans, and NDE scope documentation
- Operate field service equipment at customer sites, including non-destructive examination (NDE) technology, automated systems, and computer networks
- Provide regular project status updates to Project Managers, Product Line, Customer, and Regulator
- Participate in safety training for hazardous environment work and maintain required certifications
- Document quality-related issues and perform tasks within qualified procedures
Location, schedule, and travel
Based in Waltz Mill, Madison, PA. 5 days/week onsite when not traveling; extensive travel required spring and fall with periodic off-peak season assignments. Work performed in hazardous environments at nuclear power plant sites.
