Required qualifications
Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification or qualified SRO instructor; 5+ years of nuclear operations experience; fluent in Technical English; EU citizenship or valid work permit

Westinghouse Nuclear Operations role focused on developing operating procedures and commissioning test procedures for next-generation reactors (AP300 SMR, eVinci microreactor, AP1000) and the global operating fleet. Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge and develop expertise in writing operating procedures that define how control room operators run plants under normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions
- Develop test procedures supporting commissioning of new plants (such as AP1000) to demonstrate component and system functionality from preoperational testing through startup phases
- Validate scenarios in control room simulators before deployment to train reactor operators and support plants worldwide
- Work with industry professionals to develop technical and professional expertise in nuclear operations
- Support both the operating fleet (integrating operating experience and new scenarios) and next-generation nuclear plants (SMR and microreactors)
- Support commissioning of new plants worldwide as an author of operating and test procedures
