NDE Operator (Middle)
About this role
NDE Operator role at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear manufacturing facility conducting nondestructive examination of nuclear components using liquid penetrant and radiographic (X-ray) testing methods. Reports to Quality Control Manager and ensures compliance with nuclear safety, quality, risk, and security procedures.
Responsibilities
- —Perform nondestructive testing (liquid penetrant and X-ray) on nuclear components according to NDE Engineer documentation and applicable codes/standards
- —Prepare and maintain progress status reports for NDT activities and findings
- —Comply with company procedures for nuclear safety, quality, risk, and security; support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- —High School diploma or equivalent
- —Minimum 2 years previous experience in nondestructive examinations in industrial environments (heavy steelworks, manufacturing, or nuclear supply chain preferred)
- —Availability to work three shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, and 10:00 pm–6:00 am
- —Italian and English language proficiency (minimum B1 level)

Monfalcone site, Italy; three-shift rotating pattern (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am), Monday–Friday, onsite
