Required qualifications
Professional school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years previous experience in metrology and dimensional inspection for manufacturing industries
Italian and English language proficiency (minimum B1 level)
Availability to work three-shift rotation: 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am, Monday to Friday
About this role
Dimensional Operator at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear component manufacturing facility. Perform precision dimensional inspections on nuclear components using coordinate measuring machines and precision metrology tools. Verify conformance to technical drawings and quality control specifications, then issue inspection reports to Product Assurance teams. Reports to Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
Perform dimensional inspections on nuclear components according to technical drawings, quality control plans, and established procedures
Operate precision metrology equipment (CMM, gauges, calipers) to verify component specifications
Issue and forward inspection reports and nonconformance documentation to Product Assurance Inspectors
Comply with company procedures for safety, quality, risk management, and security protocols
Location, schedule, and travel
Monfalcone site (Italy), onsite; three-shift rotation Monday to Friday (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)
