SRO Engineer Nuclear Operations
About this role
SRO Engineer supporting Westinghouse Nuclear Operations across operating reactors and next-generation plants (AP1000, AP300 SMR, eVinci microreactors). Develop operating procedures, validate control room scenarios, and support plant commissioning worldwide, combining reactor operator expertise with new plant development.
Responsibilities
- —Develop integrated plant operations knowledge and create operating procedures for control room operators
- —Validate operating and test scenarios in control room simulators before deployment to plants
- —Author operating and test procedures for the operating fleet and next-generation nuclear plants
- —Support commissioning of new plants worldwide
- —Integrate operating experience and new scenarios into procedures
- —Collaborate with industry professionals on nuclear instrumentation and reactor engineering services
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Nuclear Engineering preferred)
- —Fluent in Technical English with strong writing and verbal skills
- —European Union Citizenship or valid work permit
Location
Madrid or Vila-Seca office; hybrid work schedule.
