Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR Certified Navy Nuclear Operator
- Licensed NRC Reactor Operator (RO) License

- Minimum 8 years applicable nuclear experience
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain unescorted access at Nuclear Power Plants
About this role
Develop and deliver training for reactor operators on Westinghouse's AP1000 reactors and operating fleet worldwide. This hybrid role combines classroom, plant, and simulator instruction, leveraging your nuclear operations experience to shape the next generation of licensed operators.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of the SAT (Systematic Approach to Training) process for initial and continuing education programs
- Perform analysis, design, and implementation of training needs in your specialty
- Design, develop, and implement training sessions for licensed and non-licensed operations personnel in classroom, plant, and simulator environments
- Collaborate on simulator malfunction analysis and corrections, including required testing
- Coordinate training activities and support training committees and planning programs
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation for assigned activities
- Develop advanced educational resources including simulators, multimedia, videos, and models
Preferred qualifications
- Naval Nuclear Officer or advanced degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in scientific or technological field
- Training or instructional background
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid (2–3 days/week on-site); southwestern Pennsylvania (Cranberry Township or Madison, PA)
