Required qualifications

About this role
Responsible for the administration of the radioactive materials shipping and receiving program to ensure the station is meeting all state, federal, and company regulations. Responsibilities
- and Accountabilities Oversee the shipping and receiving of radioactive materials including associated inspections and authorizations for shipment.
- Ensure completion of all required paperwork associated with the receipt/shipment of radioactive materials including proper maintenance and retention of records.
- Perform Curie content calculations, classification of radwaste shipments, and 10 CFR 61 analysis.
- Ensures that the appropriate computer programs for radioactive material shipments are maintained.
- Keep abreast of industry changes regarding radioactive shipping regulations and guidelines and incorporate changes into existing station procedures.
- Develop and deliver oral and written communications effective for all audiences.
- All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.). and Accountabilities Oversee the shipping and receiving of radioactive materials including associated inspections and authorizations for shipment.
