Sr Ops Training Instructor-CORP

Senior Operations Training Instructor at Constellation's Clean Energy Center responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating nuclear licensed operations training programs. Drives performance improvement through systematic, performance-based training delivery aligned with NRC regulatory requirements and INPO industry standards.

Design, develop, implement, and evaluate performance-based licensed and non-licensed training programs using Constellation's Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)

Maintain training program currency by incorporating INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, NRC Bulletins, design changes, procedure revisions, and regulatory updates

Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations in classroom, laboratory, on-the-job, and simulator environments

Conduct counseling sessions with trainees, evaluate results, and develop individualized training programs as needed

Supervise collection and maintenance of auditable training records and documentation

Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits; prepare responses to audit findings

Support CEC and fleet initiatives including project management, refuel outage support, and emergency preparedness

Achieve Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification within 18 months of hire

Perform emergency response and outage support duties as directed

6+ years as Equipment Operator in test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant settings, OR Associate's degree in technical discipline with 4+ years nuclear technical background, OR Current/previous RO/SRO certification with 4+ years equipment operator experience, OR Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, mechanical, nuclear) with 3+ years nuclear technical background

Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements per position duties

Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license or certification

Onsite at Clean Energy Center; may include emergency response and outage support requiring extended availability.
