Senior Operations Training Instructor at Constellation (nation's largest clean energy producer). Design, develop, and deliver nuclear licensed operations training programs—including RO and NLO certifications—using systematic training models aligned with INPO best practices and NRC regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate plant-specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs using Constellation's systematic approach to training model
  • Coordinate and conduct performance-based Reactor Operator (RO) and Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training in classroom, laboratory, on-the-job, and simulator environments
  • Keep training programs current with INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports, NRC Bulletins, design changes, procedure revisions, and regulatory updates
  • Prepare trainee examinations, conduct evaluations, and develop individualized training programs based on assessment results
  • Conduct counseling sessions with trainees and recommend corrective or developmental training actions
  • Support clean energy center and fleet initiatives including business projects, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special assignments
  • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits; prepare audit responses
  • Supervise collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of plant operations and training delivery techniques
  • Achieve Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification within 18 months of assuming position
  • Perform emergency response duties, departmental coverage, and outage support as directed

Qualifications

  • 6 years of equipment operator experience at test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant; OR
  • Associate's degree in technical discipline, education, or training plus 4 years of nuclear technical background or 6 years of related plant operator experience; OR
  • Current or previous licensed Reactor Operator or SRO certification plus 4 years of related plant operator experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) or related science/education plus 3 years of nuclear technical background or 4 years of related plant operator experience; OR
  • Current or previous SRO license
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access eligibility
  • Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Location

Onsite at Constellation nuclear facility. Must be available for emergency response, on-call duties, and refuel outage support activities.
