About this role

Senior Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Constellation's nuclear training programs across the clean energy center. This role ensures all training activities, personnel, and facilities meet NRC regulatory requirements and systematic approach to training (SAT) standards while supporting improved plant performance.

Responsibilities

—Manage development and implementation of generation training programs supporting improved plant performance and NRC regulatory requirements
—Oversee all aspects of business planning for the training function and establish strategic training objectives aligned with site and corporate goals
—Develop and maintain all training materials, laboratories, and simulation facilities; ensure simulator design fidelity with station configuration
—Develop performance monitoring systems and training assessment methods
—Ensure training requirements for all personnel are met in effective and efficient ways
—Mentor management personnel to support improved plant performance and perform supervisory duties as assigned
—Conduct training programs meeting NRC regulatory requirements
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) or related science, or equivalent per ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014
—10 years overall experience including 4 years power plant, 4 years nuclear power plant, and 3 years supervisory/managerial experience
—Active Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license, inactive SRO license, or SRO certification
—Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.2.5) requirements
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access per position duties
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired

—3+ years professional supervisory/management experience in training program implementation or oversight at a nuclear facility
—Experience leading teams from multiple organizations on diverse tasks and assignments
—Completion of Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Nuclear Training Leadership Course
—Experience on INPO Accreditation or Evaluation teams, benchmarking and peer assessment teams
—Knowledge of and experience with systematic approach to training (SAT)
