Senior Manager of Design Engineering at Constellation Energy, the nation's largest clean energy company. Lead the engineering function at a nuclear facility, managing engineering staff and overseeing technical programs that support site operations, regulatory compliance, and nuclear safety systems.

Responsibilities

—Manage the engineering function to meet station needs and NRC regulatory requirements
—Supervise performance, development, and evaluation of assigned engineering personnel aligned with site and corporate objectives
—Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance reviews for Site Engineering
—Provide engineering and technical leadership for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
—Ensure consistent workforce practices and employment standards across assigned supervisors and functions
—Participate in nuclear-wide programs and initiatives focused on standardized and enhanced engineering systems
—Act as backup to the Site Engineering Director
—Support emergency response duties, department coverage, and outage activities as assigned

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science field, OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license
—Minimum 10 years overall experience including: 4 years power plant experience, 1 year nuclear power plant experience, and 1 year supervisory/managerial experience
—Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification, or plant operational knowledge consistent with engineering manager requirements per ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.3.8)
—Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing per position duties
