Sourcing Specialist - Nuclear
About this role
1-year contract sourcing specialist role supporting Westinghouse's Nuclear Procurement team. You will process purchase requisitions, manage vendor communication, and ensure compliant delivery of materials and services critical to nuclear plant operations. This role builds foundational supply chain expertise within a regulated nuclear energy environment and 10 CFR 50 compliance framework.
Responsibilities
- —Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in the ERP system (NAMS) following company procedures and nuclear quality requirements
- —Support sourcing activities including request for quotation (RFQ) preparation, vendor communication, and bid evaluation
- —Coordinate with plant teams, CPED, and Accounts Payable to ensure compliant material delivery and meet safety-related material receipt and dedication requirements
- —Monitor open order backlog and assist with delivery assurance to minimize past-due purchase orders
- —Identify and escalate supply chain risks or procurement issues to senior team members
- —Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with nuclear regulatory standards (10 CFR 50)
- —Support process improvement projects and contribute to team training efforts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience); prior experience in procurement, logistics, or a regulated industry; familiarity with ERP systems; commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Interest in nuclear energy or safety-critical supply chains.
Location
Onsite in Juno Beach, FL 33408; 1-year contract assignment (W-2).
