Advanced Project Manager
About this role
Lead project planning and execution for Westinghouse's AP1000 reactor deployment in Poland. Oversee scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholder management for medium to high-complexity nuclear projects, including contract profitability, financial performance, and integrated change management.
Responsibilities
- —Author project plans and develop scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- —Assume overall responsibility for contract profitability and project financial performance
- —Manage all project aspects including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders
- —Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements and changes to functional groups using integrated change management processes
- —Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations using Earned Value Management
- —Review project expenditures for compliance with baselines and scope
- —Issue and maintain project process metrics and process maps to keep team, customers, and stakeholders informed
- —Properly close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- —Perform final project quality assessments and identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- —PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained, in process, or willing to obtain
- —5 to 10 years of project management experience or combination of engineering and project management experience from EPC, Oil, Gas, Chemical, or Nuclear sectors
- —Experience leading medium to high complexity projects to successful completion
- —Knowledge of Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge
- —Proficiency with project management software tools (P6, SAP, ARM) and Earned Value Management techniques
- —Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead complex team structures
