Senior Supplier Performance Engineer
About this role
Senior Supplier Performance Engineer at Westinghouse supporting fabrication of structural and mechanical components for nuclear energy. Oversee on-site supplier compliance, manage performance metrics, and coordinate across internal teams to ensure technical and quality requirements are met for nuclear reactor components.
Responsibilities
- —Perform on-site supplier oversight to ensure Westinghouse technical and quality requirements are achieved for nuclear components
- —Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans to lead completion of critical document submittals, manufacturing activities, surveillance points, inspections, and tests
- —Coordinate activities across Westinghouse functions including Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality Oversight
- —Identify and escalate supplier issues, risks, and quality events; guide prompt resolution by coordinating activities and identifying corrective action partners
- —Monitor supplier performance metrics (Quality issues, Deviation Notices) to identify negative trends and implement causal analysis and Supplier Improvement Plans
- —Evaluate procurement risk and develop security of supply risk mitigation plans
- —Manage internal and external corrective action requests, performing cause analyses and verifying completion of preventative and corrective actions
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- —4+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing
- —Experience in Power Generation, Nuclear, or other highly regulated industries
- —Knowledge of manufacturing processes including precision machining, welding, forming, mechanical assembly, NDE, inspection, and testing
- —Experience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualification
- —Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs
- —Ability to read drawings and specifications made to ASME standards

Onsite at supplier locations in Ingleside, TX; Alma, MI; or Vancouver, WA. No relocation provided.
