Senior Project Engineer
About this role
Senior Project Engineer supporting Westinghouse's Poland AP1000 Project. Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage project deliverables, and support the AP1000 nuclear reactor deployment. Hybrid role (Cranberry, PA) with international travel required. Requires 5+ years of nuclear or regulated industry experience.
Responsibilities
- —Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects, contractual tasks, and associated deliverables
- —Assist Project Manager with change control processes including scope requests and variation orders
- —Work with internal and external teams to satisfy commercial and technical requirements
- —Support execution of assigned tasks and mentor junior engineers
- —Review engineering deliverables, initiate corrective actions, and integrate across functional disciplines (I&C, mechanical, fluid systems, chemistry, piping, quality, reactor engineering, electrical, civil/structural)
- —Partner with project manager and technical functional disciplines to ensure project success
Qualifications
- —5+ years of experience in engineering roles (project, manufacturing, or quality) within nuclear, defense, or regulated industries
- —BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
- —Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- —Experience working on multi-discipline projects
- —Project management experience
- —Ability to travel internationally to support Poland Project development
Desired
- —Prior Westinghouse AP1000 knowledge
Location
Hybrid (Cranberry, PA) with international travel to Poland required
