Senior Program Manager
About this role
Senior Program Manager for Westinghouse Nuclear Power Plant Uprate projects. Lead technical and commercial aspects of uprate initiatives, including Balance of Plant license basis updates, component replacements, and thermal cycle evaluations to support increased reactor power levels. Manage cross-functional teams, client relationships, and project delivery from concept through implementation.
Responsibilities
- —Serve as technical lead for assigned uprate project scope, overseeing all technical deliverables and design solutions
- —Manage cost estimation, commercial offers, and client negotiations; identify Westinghouse value-added opportunities
- —Drive project delivery including schedule maintenance, financial tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- —Develop and implement recovery plans for off-track projects and manage engineering teams on technical prioritization
- —Serve as primary technical contact with clients, suppliers, sub-vendors, and Westinghouse leadership
- —Coordinate technical responses to project issues and implement risk mitigation throughout project lifecycle
- —Present monthly executive reviews and lead quarterly client status meetings with senior leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Construction Management. Minimum 5 years of experience on large, high-complexity projects at nuclear power plants. Working knowledge of thermal cycle at power plants.
Desired
10+ years of large, high-complexity project experience at nuclear power plants. Experience in nuclear power plant integrated systems operation with focus on balance of plant (thermal cycle) design and operation. Previously licensed as a nuclear power plant operator. Technical leadership experience on large, high-value field-based projects. Outage support experience and compliance with nuclear Appendix B quality assurance programs.
Location
Remote with periodic onsite requirements at nuclear plant sites during projects. Travel to client sites required.
