Senior Procurement Engineer
About this role
Senior Procurement Engineer at Westinghouse executing procurement scopes independently to ensure supplier delivery meets cost, schedule, quality, and technical requirements. You will serve as the key interface between suppliers and cross-functional teams, driving execution and resolving delivery issues to support nuclear equipment and component projects.
Responsibilities
- —Execute assigned procurement scopes independently with minimal supervision, owning personal deliverables and accountability
- —Identify issues early and escalate appropriately to management; drive supplier execution and resolve delivery obstacles
- —Interface with suppliers and internal teams to ensure predictable delivery aligned with project timelines and technical specifications
- —Demonstrate solid technical and procurement knowledge in support of nuclear or regulated project needs
- —Support team success through cross-functional collaboration and contract management oversight
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Nuclear preferred)
- —Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, engineering, or project execution within a regulated/industrial environment
- —Nuclear or highly regulated industry experience required
- —Experience supporting supplier execution and contract management
- —Familiarity with ASME and NQA-1 requirements
- —Proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, and SharePoint
- —Ability to travel up to 20%

Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA; up to 20% travel required
