Required qualifications
BA in Supply Chain, Business, or similar field; Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate environment, ideally in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear, or highly technical areas); Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken); Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with partners and suppliers; Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system; Data analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail; Knowledge of procurement end-to-end processes (Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Make to Order/Manufacture); Experience making decisions to deliver expected services with quality; Experience setting priorities, identifying risks, and making appropriate decisions.

Manage global purchase orders, supplier relationships, and procurement processes for a Global Business Services centre. Oversee procure-to-pay workflows, vendor management, and supply chain strategy execution. Mentor junior buyers and drive cost savings initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Purchase goods, materials, components, and services following specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Ensure supply of required goods and materials; communicate supply problems that may impact business operations
- Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ/RFP) and manage pricing, delivery, and Terms & Conditions
- Manage procure-to-pay process from supplier engagement through Purchase Order issuance and payment
- Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders
- Monitor Purchase Order confirmations and proactively manage on-time deliveries with suppliers and internal clients
- Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and invoices in coordination with Accounts Payable
- Manage creation of new vendors in the Approved Supplier List in compliance with sourcing strategies
- Explore alternate sources for goods and materials
- Collaborate with internal customers and suppliers to guide cost savings and reductions
- Conduct risk analysis of selected suppliers considering material cost trends and capacity constraints
- Facilitate contract change activities including amendments, renewals, and termination notices
- Build and maintain supplier relationships; implement supply chain strategies
- Oversee and mentor junior supply chain professionals (Buyers)
- Attend meetings and communicate issues, risks, and capacity concerns
- Coordinate daily work according to volume and plant requirements
- Contribute to process and systems improvements identification and implementation
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, or distribution of equipment and associated suppliers.
