Responsibilities
- Provide direct technical engineering support for manufacturing and chemical operations and maintenance
- Lead design and implementation of new or modified systems, including specification of processes and equipment designs
- Oversee installation, fabrication, testing and qualification of new equipment or processes
- Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and NRC regulatory requirements
- Identify root causes of system failures and recommend resolutions
- Analyze and recommend technological innovations in materials, machinery, manufacturing, and chemical processing techniques
- Perform engineering calculations and Finite Element Analyses using ANSYS
- Lead capital projects across multiple departments with project charters, schedules, work breakdown structures, and budgets
- Develop and document engineering specifications, drawings, and design documentation
