Senior Executive Protection Security Specialist

Senior Executive Protection Security Specialist at Constellation Energy, the nation's largest clean energy producer. This role combines executive protection, tactical security operations, and corporate investigations to safeguard C-suite executives, corporate assets, and critical infrastructure across Constellation's nuclear and energy facilities. Requires 24/7 availability, firearms proficiency, and nuclear site access clearance.
Responsibilities
- —Provide secure tactical driving and 24/7 executive protection services for Constellation leadership; conduct dignitary advances and security assessments
- —Execute counter-surveillance operations and residential vulnerability assessments; coordinate security system installations and upgrades
- —Lead protective services planning for international and domestic travel; manage security for corporate events and venue transitions
- —Conduct independent, complex investigations into alleged violations of law or Code of Business Conduct; perform investigative interviews with employees and non-employees; document findings and manage evidence
- —Prepare comprehensive investigative reports and provide controls and risk mitigation recommendations to management
- —Establish and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement; serve as liaison to law enforcement networks and NERC/CIP regulators
- —Support corporate security functions including shareholder meetings, crisis management, tabletop exercises, and business continuity planning
- —Identify internal control issues and work with business unit management on corrective action
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field (or 2+ years equivalent experience)
- —10+ years law enforcement experience with medium to large agency OR equivalent combination of law enforcement and private investigative experience
- —Pass psychological examination and comply with Constellation's Firearms Program (mandatory, subject to periodic audit)
- —Knowledge of safety protocols, risk assessment, and recordkeeping for firearms management
- —Ability to obtain and maintain LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) qualifications
- —Ability to obtain NERC/CIP access and nuclear site unescorted access clearance
- —Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- —Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts, on-call status, weekends, overtime, and holidays
- —Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Location
24/7 rotating shift work with on-call availability including weekends and holidays; domestic and international travel required; nuclear site unescorted access required; based at Constellation Energy facilities (multiple nuclear sites)
