Responsibilities

—Perform reactor engineering analysis and technical tasks in accordance with safety analyses, industry codes, and NRC regulatory requirements
—Prepare engineering recommendations and documentation supporting reactor operations and maintenance decisions
—Support reactor engineering work functions and emergency response duties as assigned
—Obtain Qualified Nuclear Engineering (QNE) certification within 24 months of hire
—Provide on-call coverage for department duties and participate in refueling outages

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Nuclear)
—Ability to maintain unescorted access to protected areas (background clearance)
—Favorable medical examination and fitness-for-duty testing
