Responsibilities
- —Perform radiological surveys on primary, secondary, auxiliary systems, plant buildings and grounds
- —Provide contamination and dose control across the facility
- —Maintain the Radiation Work Permit Program and track radiation exposure for personnel and work tasks
- —Determine and implement methods to reduce radiation exposure; establish worker stay times and radiological work requirements
- —Provide radiation protection coverage for work tasks
- —Maintain laboratory quality control, instrument calibration and operation
- —Respond to off-normal radiological conditions and maintain exposures ALARA and within regulatory limits
- —Maintain respiratory protection program and radiologically post the power plant
- —Understand adverse radiological conditions and their impacts on equipment and personnel performance
- —Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization
Qualifications
- —6 years of commercial nuclear experience
- —At least 2 years of experience at this facility
- —Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations
- —Outstanding communication and conflict management skills
- —Proficiency with current computer business applications
- —Successful completion of the EEI TECH test
Desired
- —Asset Suite, Sentinel, and P6 software experience
Location
Onsite in Killona, Louisiana; up to 25% travel; must reside within 75 minutes of site due to Emergency Response Organization requirements
