About this role

TerraPower Isotopes is building out the TPI Project Office to manage engineering and R&D project delivery for actinium-225 production scale-up. This is a builder's role for an experienced Project Manager who has established project management functions in fast-moving, regulated environments and can operate with limited direction while maintaining rigorous governance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as embedded project manager for engineering and technology functions, planning and driving delivery of project scope end to end
  • Design and stand up the TPI Project Office framework, including governance structures, delivery-lane definitions, and project controls disciplines
  • Build and maintain project controls across assigned scope: develop work breakdown structures, establish resource-loaded schedules, and manage baselines throughout execution
  • Coordinate scheduling in Primavera P6 with the master scheduler, including resource loading, leveling, and integration of external engineering and vendor schedules
  • Establish and run performance measurement and reporting, including milestone and earned-value tracking, variance analysis, and portfolio dashboards (e.g., Power BI)
  • Operate change management through a disciplined project change request process, maintaining live change logs and risk registers
  • Support portfolio intake and categorization to ensure consistent classification and appropriate planning fidelity
  • Stand up and steward project management tooling including enterprise scheduling, time tracking, and portfolio reporting systems
  • Coordinate interfaces with contracted engineering, EPC partners, and specialized equipment vendors
  • Author and refine Project Office governance artifacts—policies, procedures, and templates—and support organizational adoption
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, operations, engineering, and R&D to align delivery with safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency with Atlassian tooling (Confluence and Jira)
  • Familiarity with enterprise scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or comparable solutions
