About this role

TerraPower seeks a Project Manager to oversee the Natrium advanced sodium-cooled fast reactor demonstration project. You'll manage cost, schedule, and scope across multidisciplinary engineering teams, serve as the primary point of contact for project issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of nuclear reactor development activities. Reports to Sr. Project Manager.

Responsibilities

—Manage project cost, schedule, and scope execution using earned value (EV) data; monitor variances, identify root causes, and develop corrective/recovery actions
—Drive team accountability for deliverables within budget, scope, and technical performance requirements; ensure technical adequacy and quality of work products
—Lead integrated master control schedule (IMCS) planning; coordinate with engineering leads and project controls for schedule implementation and resource leveling
—Develop and maintain staffing and resource plans; adjust schedules to optimize resource allocation
—Maintain project risk register and execute actions to reduce project risk
—Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements in coordination with Contract Administrator
—Collaborate with PMO to ensure adherence to PMO requirements and corporate procedures

Qualifications

—Minimum 5 years direct Project Management or Project Delivery experience on large-scale projects
—Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
—Demonstrated experience managing projects under regulatory oversight; nuclear power plant construction experience preferred
—Proficiency with project scheduling, budget control, EVMS tools, and project control methodologies
—Working knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
—Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and oral communication
—Meet ANSI/ANS 3.1 minimum education and experience qualification requirements

—PMP certificate
—Strong technical acumen with ability to grasp complex nuclear engineering concepts
—Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA)
—Experience with Primavera P6
