About this role
Project Engineer for Westinghouse's OMS ELA Steam Generator platform, developing and qualifying maintenance processes and automation solutions for nuclear steam generator servicing. Role combines engineering design, technical documentation, and on-site project execution with focus on safety and continuous improvement across the ELA nuclear services region.
Responsibilities
- —Participate in RFQ proposals and identify technical requirements for projects
- —Draft detailed design and procurement specifications for steam generator maintenance systems
- —Contribute to software, equipment, and process developments
- —Draft technical documentation and development test reports
- —Participate in site execution of First of a Kind (FOAK) projects
- —Support project manager in managing projects to scope, schedule, and cost objectives
- —Attend on-site training to understand steam generator maintenance constraints and operational requirements
Qualifications
Master's Degree in automation, electronics, or software engineering; 2+ years experience as Project Engineer; Software design and programming expertise (C++); Ethernet and communication protocol knowledge; Motor control expertise; Automation and robotics competency; Fluent in French with good English proficiency
Desired
Experience in nuclear field; Technical interest orientation
Location
ELA region; occasional travel required per project needs; on-site training period included
